Sohini Roy

Sohini joined the Kohn Lab in 2019 and is the GMP Lab Lead, where she helps bring promising gene therapies closer to patients by overseeing the manufacture of autologous stem cell products for clinical trials. She has been involved in the development of treatments for disorders including sickle cell disease, cystinosis, X-linked chronic granulomatous disease (X-CGD), and Adenosine deaminase-deficient severe combined immunodeficiency (ADA-SCID). Through her expertise and collaborative approach, she contributes to the translation of groundbreaking research into clinical applications. Outside of work, Sohini enjoys gardening and building stage sets for theatrical productions.
