Vrishti Sinha

Vrishti is currently working on several projects studying gene therapy approaches for rare monogenic autosomal recessive diseases. She earned her B.S. in Genetics and Genomics from UC Davis, where she studied DNA damage as a result of transcription/replication machinery interactions in Dr. Jacqueline Barlow’s Lab. Upon graduation, she worked as a Lab Technician in Dr. Matthew Porteus’ Lab at Stanford University, studying gene editing approaches for Cystic Fibrosis. In her free time, Vrishti enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies and TV shows, traveling, cross-stitching, reading, attending concerts and comedy shows, and exploring LA’s food and entertainment scene.
